Elizabethan Fairy 
The next Fairy is the Elizabethan Fairy. These are the first fairy that showed up as mischievous and troublesome at times! Poets and dramatists at this time brought these fairy to the forefront of the Fairy world. Nymphs became a new focus, and hobgoblins, brownies and small flower loving fairies became well-known. It is at this time that the Fairy begin to have the small little wings we are familiar with to day. (I have never experienced an ancient shining one with wings by the way! ).
