Water Fairy
We now move on to the Water Fairy!
There are two families of water fairy. The first is the salt water fairy
family which has three types; water babies, sea sprites and storm fairies.
The second family is the fresh water fairy; the undine. Water babies
live on the surface of the ocean in bays near land. They are happy
little beings and are very round in their faces and bodies with almost
no feet and flippers for hands. They are usually bright blue, with big
eyes with a whitish-blue face. Their hair is more like fluff. They
like to roll and tumble in the waves and give us their energy when we immerse
ourselves in their salty playground!
Sea Sprites are golden flashes
that live just above the sea. You can see them by looking out beyond
the shore. They do misled you as to their size, for while they seem small
at first, they are actually well over 6 feet tall. They are sort
of gaunt with a skeleton-type look to them, with long faces, big blue eyes
and a small slit-like mouth! Their hair is blue and appears wind-blown around
their faces. Their energy is that of being very free with much happiness.
The storm fairy lives and dances
in the vast open ocean. They sometimes rise up on huge waves, but
usually prefer to live in the depths of the ocean. They are one of the few
hostile type fairies that appear huge and furry.
In the fresh waster family, the
undine lives in ponds and lakes and appears very beautiful, being slender,
feminine, naked, massive long curly hair and big eyes, big lips and somewhat
sad. They love to sing and weave enchantments while they do so. This has sometimes led to
people following their beautiful music into the lake
and drowning. But, this is not their intent for they are not evil. They
are considered the chemist fairies, who make change thru the use of elements.
One of their takes is to draw the sap up the trees and plants where it is
exposed to the light bringing more life. They are dreamers who also
use water to bind and loosen.
